Compared to alternative measuring systems, inclinometers offer more flexibility and degrees of freedom in system design, as the sensor does not require a mechanical connection to a shaft or rotary axis, for example. This simplifies installation and significantly reduces sources of error. With the help of simple tools, the sensors can be individually adapted to the respective application requirements.
