Safe for mining: Encoders with M2 mining approval.

The absolute encoders Singleturn Sendix 7163 / 7183 in a compact 70 mm stainless steel housing with SSI or BiSS interface and optical sensors have ATEX/IECEx mining approval. These shock- and vibration-resistant encoders operate flexibly with a resolution of up to 29 bits and are available with axial and radial cable outlets.

Bellows couplings (FS)

Bellows couplings are used for the low backlash connection of motor and encoder. In addition, a correction of angular errors between drive and encoder is achieved.
These bellows couplings (FS) provide a safe connection between the application and Sendix SIL encoders.
The safety-oriented bellows coupling has, in addition to the metallic bellows, internal claws that ensure the driving of the encoder in case of breakage of the bellows connection.
